I'm going for an APB style approach to my project. I am big into FS Live Traffic X by AirNav. I know there are some who gripe about FS Live but it is the traffic program I enjoy; I gotta have the real world data. I do have a gripe though and this is what I'm trying to solve. FS Live limits what aircraft are displayed and I want to open this up. I have a basic understanding of the aircraft files and have modified many of the models with "Gucci" skins opposed to the dopey MyTraffic skins and models provided. I realize that FS Live is the application to build the flight plans and MyTraffic drives the AI. My theory is the combination of FS Live and MyTraffic somehow disables certain flights from being displayed, either there is no model (AN124, PC-12, etc.) or for security puposes the aircraft aren't displayed (N707JT (that's John Travolta's 707), military flights, etc.). In my MyTraffic folder under the FSX directory I have aircraft data files, text files, and config files for all of the above. What is the switch I need to throw to bring these sleeping honeys to life. I'm starting with the Alpha India AN-124. There are a hand full of flight histories for Aeroflot. One of which departs from Anchorage. Has anyone been successful at accomplishing what I'm attempting to carry-out. Any help is more than appreciated!
