I was wondering, as you all should know, Delta has several different special livery aircraft. Such examples include the Pink Breast Cancer Awareness 752, the Habitat for Humanity 763ER, and the Delta Spirit 772LR. This is a poll to see what special Delta livery would you like to see. Please provide a description, aircraft type, and aircraft registration.
I personally would like to see a Coca-Cola themed Delta aircraft. Since there are no special livery 764ERs, I think that such livery should be used on the 764ER that I previously flown on, N834MH. The tail would be red with Coca-Cola's Dyamic Ribbon, and a Coca-Cola logo below the Delta logo on the front of the fuselage. Delta has always been a loyal Coke customer from the beginning, and the relationship will continue after DL buys out NW.

Well considering they're the "official" airline of the four major pro sports teams in Atlanta as well as the athletic programs at the University of Georgia, Georgia Tech, and Georgia State University, I'd love to see some sports themed a/c. They have in a way done an Atlanta Braves plane with the Hank Aaron 757.
For the Braves, Hawks, Thrashers and the Falcons, perhaps some 757s. Keep the DL livery with the exception of the tail and the engine nacelles. Put the team logo on the tail and engine nacelles and add "Official Airline Of The Atlanta Braves/Hawks/Thrashers/Falcons" after the Delta titles on the fuselage with the team name portion being in the font/script used on their uniforms and logos.
For UGA, GT, and GSU, I'd go with the 737s. Like with the pro teams, put the team logo on the tail but put the school logo on the engine nacelles, and have the "Official Airline of UGA/Georgia Tech/Georgia State Athletics" after the Delta titles on the fuselage.
Vegas means comedy, tragedy, happiness and sadness all at the same time.

Maybe in 2029 they could paint a plane in each of their liveries until then. That would be pretty cool. The Ron Allen plane would absolutely have to be a 757 or some equivalent airplane.
Those who think they know everything annoy those of us who actually do.

If DL bought NW I would like DL to have a Spirit of Minnesota paint scheme. A walleye (the state fish) on the fuselage like AS's salmon-thirty-salmon. On the tail have the Minneapolis skyline. I would like it on a 777.
Its not a question of if an Air France 773 will be at MSP, its just a question of when.
Coke is a good idea. I want to see a Northeast MD88, a Western 737, post-merger Northwest Airbuses in both the bowling shoe and the newest liveries, and possibly a PanAm not sure what type though. I would like to see an early 90s widget, a Ron Allen, and the one after Ron Allen. With the merged airline having around 800 mainline airplanes there is no reason they couldn't have a few special paintjobs (if US Air can, anyone can).

Quoting Alitalia744 (Reply 7): IMHO the only livery Delta should be painting on its aircraft is the 2007 U&O livery.
Time to drive consistency of brand and product...
My sentiments as well. Wouldn't mind seeing only one type of livery on Delta planes - I don't want DL becoming like US Airways and having to have a million special liveries.
I thought about that. I just think the MD88s will be around longer than the DC-9s.

What I hate to say makes US Air cool is that they recognize heritage from years gone by. Its just a good way respect to employees who gave their lives to the company.
Quoting StarAlliance38 (Reply 9): Hey! When US releases a new logojet, they usually have special buttons they sell in the Company Store! And with every logojet comes a

Quoting PHLBOS (Reply 14): Check out the NW DC-9 photos in NWADC9's profile: N994Z is indeed an ex-Yellowbird N979NE.
Well they could paint the DC9 N994Z in NE colors. However when the merger gets finalized that ships life would be close to the end, mabye they should do N994Z and an MD or just do an MD and take the tail# from the DC9 and put it on an MD. I'm glad I aint gonna be runnin the paint gun.

Sorry that plane has been retired.
I want to see a Southern Airbus and a North Central 757

If it didn't suck so bad I would agree. Maybe the next CEO will do the right thing and bring back the real widget. Well I guess it would be Anderson's job since all other liveries seem to come at the end of the CEO's time at DL.
