Please strike GF off the list without hesitation. I have flown more than a handful of flights with them and they are nothing short of disastrous with surly flight attendants and bad ground service. IMHO, QR and EY are considered "new-upstarts" in the region and might be more eager to please.

Ryanair is absolutely correct, you wont go wrong with EY or QR.
As far as Gulf Air goes, they are not up to par as these two but I have been reading and hearing about all the improvements they have been making recently. However its a 50/50 with them as there is no real way to know what to expect at the moment. That said I would take Gulf Air over Emirates but that is another thread.

I would personally choose QR simply because I have travelled with them in J and F all the time. The serivce is amazing--plus, you have the option to watch live televesion in the seats! EY is also great. Seating wise, QR is wider and at an almost flat angle. The seat pitch is generous though.
