Haha...how do you think? Just happy Gas is at $3.45/gal at the moment!

I did a city MPG average on the onboard computer and it ranges from 11.9MPG - 13.4MPG.

On the Interstate/Highway, I get about 20-21MPG which is better than what is listed on that particular vehicle.

I didn't know that body style started in '99. We have a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland that we keep at the lakehouse. Such a nice car. Very comfortable and we definitely use it for it's purpose. Even though this summer we used my Range quite a bit to haul around waverunners. The boat is too long to haul, plus I think you have to have a semi to haul it anyway. I think both of those cars would die.

My first car when I was 16 was a '96 Red Jeep Grand Cherokee Ltd. Had problems with the computer, but other than that, great looking car.

How long is it? Please include width and length.

Yes we are. I know a lot of the regulations as my family has been hauling boats at one time or another since 83.

The Ski Boat is 42' with a deck underneath the bow. Not sure of the height, but the hull is rather deep, i'd say maybe 10-15 ft? Not sure about that though.

Ok, if its 8'6ft wide, you need permits to tow it. Can you post a picture? I know that my dads old 35ft needed permits to tow it and had to follow designated routes in order to avoid taking down the radar arch.

If thats the boat you posted, than yes it should be trailerable with a 3500 series truck and a proper tri-axle trailer. Just be sure to get permits as its over 8'6 wide. Usually dealers know best once they see your boat. FYI, that vehicle you have won't tow it. My dads 35ft required a 4500 series Ford as it weight 25Klbs. IM me if you have any questions.

The boat has a lift in Marina that it spends its time on. No need to trailer it anywhere. It was brought in on a Semi is all I know. It's next to the Cruiser in the next slip. We rarely take out the "yacht" if that's what you want to call it, mostly the Ski Boat because it doesn't take 12 people to drive it, dock it, and run it.

UAL

Well, 12 people was an exaggeration but if I'm driving it and trying to dock it or tie up in party cove, anchor, etc., i prefer two people on each side, one on the bow, etc. to make sure I don't scratch it up. Putting it in the slip is rather tight and it freaks me out, unless I've had a few beers. Still then, it's not a lot of fun until you get it in deep water.

I could run that thing myself. Very easy. My dads 35ft was a breeze. Btw, thats a nice boat you have.

With the top down

The top stacks up electronically before it goes down

And then the roof goes into the trunk, leaving not much space.
