Seat 27F
Checkin for the return trip was quick and easy. Since the plane was not full and we were early checking in we were able to get one of the seats blocked so we had more room.
Unlike when we arrived we had to use a remote stand and walk across the tarmac, this time we had the aero bridge.
However once on the plane someone else was in our seats so they had to move and we got settled. Takeoff was good and with good views of the coastline.
Again it was buy on board food so I again had some chips and a can of lemonade. It soon went dark and I fell asleep for awhile. Generally uneventful flight.
Landing back home in Adelaide was good. Once we had pulled up to the terminal and waited for everyone else to get off I had a look up front on the way out and a chat to the pilots who let me take a few photos and turned all the cockpit lights on.
Since the new terminal has been built everyone raves how good it is, however my opinion differs. Firstly the building is long and thin so it is hard to get from one end to another and the two puny travelators are useless.
For someone like me who cannot walk long distances the airport is badly set up. Although there are golf bugger type things for that purpose, but no one is mannung them so they sit idle most of the time.
To be frank the old domestic terminal was small and easy to get around.
