One thing looks clear for me - the A350 is starting one lap behind! Can't wait to see more 787s on service!!

Think about this. Its a all new aircraft in the required certification process. And with no sweat it flys non-stop from Seattle to England and back to the USA without a second thought from Boeing and its test crew. I think Boeing knows something during this test period about the 787 and its performance that is going to blow away all comers in the future.

It's nice to see her on the air. Engine pods and wings are something new and exciting. Tail and rudder looks a bit old and the nose somehow reminds me those good old Comets and Caravelles. Nice picture, thank you.

Lovely!

Don't miss the ribs showing thorugh on the rudder!

Beautiful aircraft, awesome wing design! Love the raked tips! And the sawtooth engine pods! Boeing all the way!

Liking the nose more now. Time for A380 to move aside :)

This is a real beauty of a shot, and those lines are just gorgeous! Great shot of the best new generation airliner yet! Jaysen F. Snow - Midwest Tail Chasers

I have to say, what an average looking airplane. Nothing to get excited about esthetically or awe-inspiring in the looks department. A clear evolution of the B-767 looks-wise.

A visitor from Germany posted Tue July 20, 2010:
This wingshape makes everything else look old fashioned somehow

Somptuous wings !!

A visitor from United States posted Tue July 20, 2010:
Another American Beauty but I wish they had stuck with the original tail design.

Such an attractive airliner

Awesome wingflex and the whole plane is very elegant. Can't wait to see it in Air Berlin and LOT liveries. 5*

A visitor from - posted Tue July 20, 2010:
The way the wings stretch is like a work of art. The hinge-link fairings are so thin (is it just me?) and they blend with the design flow of the wings perfectly! The nose and the engines... they're mean and yet they are so beautiful.

A visitor from Italy posted Tue July 20, 2010:
Look at the wing flex ...just incredible !

No, the livery on this 787 is just a new livery for the time being, as it saves money. I saw this in a aircraft mag. Great Photo!
