XW219 / DC (cn 1144) One of a pair of Pumas pictured departing Staverton after a refuelling stop. XW219 was delivered in 1971 and has served with 230 Sqn in Germany and then Northern Ireland and with 1563 Flight in Basrah, Iraq. 230 Sqn aircraft rotate with those of 33 Sqn, now at RAF Benson, and operate in support of NATO and the ACE Mobile Force (Land). This one wears the 230 Sqn badge and the latest overall NATO Green tactical camouflage. (400D, Sigma 80-400 anti-shake & fluid-head tripod)
