RP-C3222 (cn 708) View of Davao's old Int'l (left) and Domestic terminals as we depart Rwy 23 headed for Manila. Cabin was loaded to the gunnels with carryons, literally trapping everyone in their seats. Plane was wfu in early '98.

RP-C3222 (cn 708) My ride to MNL, a couple of weeks old here. PAL had just introduced the A320 to its fleet, and were using Airbus training pilots. Unfortunately this bird crashed a few months later in Bacolod in a tragic runway overrun. See pic 8978

RP-C3222 (cn 708) The plane was only three months old at the time of the accident and was a total wreck. The initial findings revealed that the aircraft's computers were to blame. The final results have not yet been released.

RP-C3222 (cn 708) Taken from our Cessna 150. This aircraft left the runway at high speed, went through the concrete perimeter fence, jumped over a small creek and plowed through 15 homes. Three people on the ground were killed.
